Question by kingpuffy117: How did the Bush Administration come up with the original number of 0 billion dollars for the bailout?
There seems to be conflicting thought from everyone on what it will really cost to do the bailout. Thank goodness Congress is working to lessen this or break up these payments though I’m still not a fan of the plan. Why did the number need to be so high and given to Wall Street right away? Then too with little or no oversight? I smell a large payoff for the corporate bankers that put us in this mess. What do you think?
